Delivery Information
We want to bring you the freshest possible products at the most economic cost, so each week we bring a truck over direct from the Pidy bakeries in Belgium and France. By ordering online at Pastry Post, we guarantee to supply you with the freshest possible Pidy pastry cases.
The main Pidy bakery at Ypres in Belgium
Your order will normally be delivered within the week. All orders are checked at the time they are placed, and you would be notified in the event that your delivery was going to take any longer. If you have a particular deadline, please telephone our sales helpline on 0845 2415 245 to discuss your requirements.
Alternatively, you can let us know of any deadline by completing the "Customer Comments" box during the Checkout process. In this case, should we be unable to deliver your order by the requested date, we would let you know within 24 hours of placing the order. At that time, if you wished to cancel the order, your payment would be refunded in full.
There is no minimum order quantity, but as there is a fixed delivery charge of £8.75 per order (£22.75 for remote and offshore destinations) it pays to plan your ordering to get as many boxes as possible per delivery. The long shelf life on these products means you can order for several weeks ahead and they will keep perfectly if stored sensibly (please see FAQ.)
On the day your order has been packed ready for despatch, you will receive an email to notify you of the Consignment No., the delivery day, and an approximate delivery time. There will also be a website link which will allow you to track your consignment.
When you're filling out your Delivery Address details, please remember we need an address where someone will be there to receive the order - our carrier makes a charge for repeat delivery attempts if no-one is available.
We deliver throughout the United Kingdom except the Channel Islands, Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man. Deliveries to some offshore or remote destinations have a higher delivery charge (see above) and may take a few days longer to arrive. We do not deliver outside of the UK at the moment (but we're working on it).
