Delivery Information
We want to bring you the freshest possible products at the most economic cost, so every week we bring a truck over direct from Pidy in Belgium. By ordering online, your order is added to the next truck coming over and so uses the freshest possible pastry.

The main Pidy bakery at Ypres in Belgium
Pastry Post online orders are made up at Pidy's bakery on Mondays and the consolidated orders sent to their transport depot overnight. Your online order has to be placed by 8.00 a.m. on a Monday morning to be included in that week's consolidated order delivery.
The weekly consolidated orders arrive with us on Wednesdays, and we in turn match them up with your individual orders, re-box them into protective outer cases and send them out by overnight courier on Thursday to be delivered to you on Friday (but please see Terms and Conditions).
Deliveries will only be made to addresses with mainland postcodes within England, Scotland and Wales. Delivery addresses north of the Great Glen should allow an additional 3 days for delivery.
There is no minimum order - but as there is a fixed carriage charge of £8.50 per order it pays to plan your ordering to get as many boxes as possible per delivery (and the long shelf life means they will keep).
When you're filling out the Checkout details, please remember that we need a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the order - our couriers are not allowed to make repeat delivery attempts if there is no-one available - or alternatively, please indicate somewhere secure and dry where the order may be left (at your own risk) if you are likely to be out. In this situation our courier will leave a card confirming that your order has been delivered.
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions concerning deliveries (and many other topics) will be found at FAQ, or if you want to see the products and place an order please go straight to the shop.
