Terms and Conditions
Pastry Post is a 100% on-line business. We can only accept orders placed through the Pastry Post website and paid through the secure Worldpay checkout.
Orders are accepted subject to these terms and conditions.
Orders cannot be amended after completion of the Worldpay Checkout. You will receive an email order confirmation shortly after the Worldpay Checkout transaction has been completed.
Orders placed by 8.00 a.m. on Mondays will normally be delivered between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. the following Friday, but note that special conditions apply to remote areas (see below). Orders missing the 8.00 a.m. Monday cut-off will automatically be carried forward to the following week's delivery.
You must give a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the order - our couriers are not allowed to make repeat delivery attempts if there is no-one available - or alternatively, indicate somewhere secure and dry where the order may be left (at your own risk) if you are likely to be out. In this situation, our courier will leave a card confirming that your order has been delivered.
Deliveries will only be made to addresses with mainland postcodes within England, Scotland and Wales. Delivery addresses north of the Great Glen should allow an additional 3 days for delivery.
We make strenuous efforts to ensure our delivery schedules are adhered to, but in the event of any delivery delays for reasons beyond our control we do not accept financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
The products we sell may contain allergenic ingredients (for example, gluten or lactose). Full allergen information and lists of ingredients are provided on the Products page.
Some slight variation in shape and colour may occur within each delivery because we are selling baked products made using natural ingredients. This variability is controlled by the manufacturer within well defined limits, and the slight variations that result are quite normal, often enhancing the 'hand-made' appearance of the product.
Although we go to great lengths to ensure safe and sound packaging, the fragile nature of the products means that some transit damage may occasionally occur. We ask our customers to make some allowance for this in order to have the benefit and convenience of on-line ordering. It's a good idea to allow slightly over when calculating the quantities required. In the event of serious or excessive damage, please contact us as we will require full details in order to make a claim against the carrier. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods and the delivery charge.
In the event of dissatisfaction, we offer a complete no-quibble money-back guarantee: simply give us a call if you are not satisfied.
We reserve the right to discontinue or change products without prior notification.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we collect about you through the on-line shop or through your registering for the Newsletter will only be used by us in accordance with the requirements of the 1998 Data Protection Act and the recommendations of the Which? Web Trader Code Of Practice.
