Terms and Conditions

Pastry Post is a 100% on-line business. We can only accept orders placed through the Pastry Post website and paid through the secure Worldpay checkout.

Orders are accepted subject to these terms and conditions.

When you place an order, you will receive an email order confirmation from Pastry Post after the Checkout process has been completed.

When you pay for your order, you will receive an email payment confirmation from Worldpay after the payment process has been completed.

Your order will normally be delivered within the week. All orders are checked at the time they are placed, and you would be notified in the event that your delivery was going to take any longer. If you have a particular deadline, please telephone our sales helpline on 0845 2415 245 to discuss your requirements.

Alternatively, you can let us know of any deadline by completing the "Customer Comments" box during the Checkout process. In this case, should we be unable to fulfil your order by the requested date, we would let you know within 24 hours of placing the order. At that time, if you wish to cancel the order, your payment would be refunded in full.

When you're filling out your Delivery Address details, please remember we need an address where someone will be there to receive the order - our carrier makes a charge for repeat delivery attempts if no-one is available.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom except the Channel Islands, Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man.

Deliveries to remote or offshore destinations have a higher delivery charge and may take a few days longer to arrive.

We do not currently deliver outside of the UK.

We make strenuous efforts to ensure our delivery schedules are adhered to, but in the event of any delivery delays for reasons beyond our control we do not accept financial responsibility for any costs or losses incurred.

The products we sell may contain allergenic ingredients (for example, gluten or lactose). Full allergen information and lists of ingredients are provided in the Technical Specification accessed from the products "More Info" page.

Some slight variation in shape and colour may occur within each delivery because we are selling baked products made using natural ingredients. This variability is controlled by the manufacturer within well defined limits, and the slight variations that result are quite normal, often enhancing the 'hand-made' appearance of the product.

Although we go to great lengths to ensure safe and sound packaging, the fragile nature of the products means that some transit damage may occasionally occur. We ask our customers to make some allowance for this in order to have the benefit and convenience of on-line ordering. It's a good idea to allow slightly over when calculating the quantities required.

In the event of serious or excessive damage, please contact us as we will require full details in order to make a claim against the carrier. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods and the delivery charge.

In the event of dissatisfaction, we offer a complete no-quibble money-back guarantee: simply give us a call if you are not satisfied.

We reserve the right to discontinue or change products without prior notification.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we collect about you through the on-line shop or through your registering for the Newsletter will only be used by us in accordance with the requirements of the 1998 Data Protection Act and the recommendations of the Which? Web Trader Code Of Practice.
